Of the hair was stiff at the beginning when first installed. However over time they have loosened up. I absolutely love them and glad I decided to go with these loc extensions. I’ve gotten so many compliments about how natural they look. Unless I tell you they are mine lol. I have 62 locs but ordered 100 just in case. I have not colored them yet but intend in the future. Will probably try hair spray first! For the quality of the loc extensions is well worth the money! I have thick 4c hair so the texture works perfectly. The locs are thick and the color matches with my natural hair! Don’t be scared to get loc extensions I didn’t want to do short stage so I got starter locs then extensions. I haven’t decided if I will cut them out eventually. For now I love my locs!
I really didn’t want to go through the awkward length phase or process of growing out locs SO I cheated and installed these myself. I am not a loctician! I’m just a girl in the world. They are very sturdy and well made, but make sure you wash/soak them in vinegar and conditioner, so they soften up a little and expand. The first picture is when I finished installing them early November, the second pic is a month later. Then the video is from today after I added curly bundles to the end. I’ve retwisted them twice and everything is fine. To prevent lint and continue softening them moisten locs with rose water, add oil, and brush with soft/med bristle brush 2 times a week. Thanks for reading! Hope this helps!
These loc extensions were great!! I purchased both sizes 0.4cm and 0.6cm, too add links to my starter locs. My hair was originally 2 - 2 1/2 inches long. I dyed the locs both blue and purple and ended up having more locks than I actually needed. I figured this is fine just in case I wanted to actually add length to the extensions that I did add, at some point, or is if I lose one and needed to replace it or fix it. I would suggest partying and pre-sectioning your hair, so you'll know how many locs you'll need. They dyed perfectly!!! I shampooed them with some moisturizing shampoo and then you could deep conditioner on them. These softened up really well and were not stiff. I do experience some itchiness, I feel that is just because they're different texture than my hair and I still have to get used to it. I do believe after a few days it should go away. I also use some of the blue ones I dyed for the back of my daughter's hair. She had a few locs that broke off and we had to regrow back, so they are much shorter than the rest of her hair. The locs attached perfectly and were a great addition to her hair!! I have those pictures up as well.
I definitely will be purchasing from them again in the future, and have already told a few people about them. Thanks for doing such a great job guys, I love them!!
The hair is good, but you must boil with conditioner to soften it up and it’s still a little scratchy on my skin. I do like the hair, but it does itch a little right now. The stylist says it will get better, they will be less stiff and fall loosely. They are a little stiff, But I like the locs.
I installed these in my hair 5 months ago and they’re still as great as day 1. Was a little worried about the stiffness, but just as I expected, over time they “softened up” and started to move. Also it’s best to soak the hair before installing them idk why anyone wouldn’t expect stiffness. Today I’ll be dying them to really put them to the test. I’m very excited!
